  • Useful Kitchen Tips:
  1. Cover the pot when bringing water to a boil.
  2. Heat the vessel correctly to keep food from sticking.
  3. Remove the stems of green chilies while storing them .This will help them to stay fresh for long.
  4. When coconut is used in grinding masala, do not fry for a longer time.
  5. Pakodas will turn out crisper if a little corn flour is added to the gram flour (besan) while preparing the batter.
  6. Add a tsp. of hot oil to homemade pastes of garlic, ginger or green chili, along with salt to make it last longer and taste fresher.
  7. Potatoes soaked in salt water for 20 minutes will bake more rapidly.
